Independent film-maker Elena Rossini will present her documentary, The Illusionists, which analyzes the marketing of unattainable beauty and the disturbing effects Western beauty standards have across the world.
The Illusionists features the testimonies of sociologists, politicians, magazine editors, scientists, artists and activists in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Rossini and this film have been featured in Vogue Italia, Indiewire, Jezebel, New York Magazine, and Mic.com.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with the director.
